Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging is a photographic technique which measures temperature rather than light.  The human body is always striving to maintain a core or specific temperature.  By identifying areas of heat, which have been shown to be associated with inflammation, infection, and irregular growths, we identify areas of concern.  Similarly, by identifying areas of "coolness" we can see where there might be issues of lack of blood flow or neuropathy.  Thermal imaging is one of the most accurate ways to detect problems in the vascular, muscular, neural, and skeletal systems. We help you identify and address the root causes rather than just looking at one-off symptoms.

How Does it Work?

Thermal imaging assesses blood flow patterns, inflammation and function using very sensitive equipment. It is a non-invasive, non-contact system of recording body temperature by measuring infrared radiation emitted by the body surface. It is a passive, pain free, fast, low cost and sensitive method.

How Effective is Thermal Imaging vs Other Methods of Detection?

A thermal image has some advantages over a mammogram and an ultrasound, including the ability to detect physiologic changes in a cancer while it’s still in the cellular phase-sometimes years before it is detectable.

Thermal imaging can also detect lymphatic congestion and hormonal imbalances as well as monitor dietary changes. It can assess breast cancer risk, which is also something mammography and ultrasound technology cannot do.

Thermal imaging is excellent at identifying lymphatic heat, which would be an indication of bacterial infection.

Thermal imaging can identify things like risk of diabetes or risk of rheumatory arthritis early and thereby mitigate the potential severity of these disease if left unidentifyined.

Is it possible to Thermal Image a family pet or livestock?

The short answer is absolutely yes. Pets just like us can show signs of inflammation or areas or trauma from the scan that might have been missed by a veterinarian. We have experience with mules, horses and dogs.

Are you ready to book your Thermal Image Scan?

We image the entire body into regions of interest and scan for indications of areas of inflammation, cancer, restricted blood flow, neuropathy, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, heart issues, and many other issues and pre-issues.
